Onalaska was a band from Seattle, Washington

This site collects the recordings and collateral produced by the band from 1997 to 2007

While not a full time concern for its members, Onalaska did release two records, To Sing For Nights in 2003 and You and the Fishermen in 2007.

Tom Harpel wrote and sang the songs, Jake Snider played guitar and sang some and did the recording, Erin Tate played the drums, Brian Cook the bass, Cory Murchy the keyboards and piano and Stephanie Snider, the viola.

Prior to Onalaska's formation, Mike Bayer, Larry Biely and David Martin played music with Tom Harpel in the late 1990's under the name Tornado Tom and the Twisters. Demo recordings were also produced, and a cassette titled Tornado Tom Sings Four Songs was released to friends in 1998.
